I have nothing constuctive to say. This is actually a totally pointless entry. I blame the sleep deprivation. I've been up all night (it's 9 AM now) helping my sister to finish her thesis of DOOM. The printer colapsed. Twice. And I was 2 fucking hours doing the fucking index. But the damn thing is finally done.

And, today is the 36º annyversary of the chilean coup d'état. Probably there're going to be protests, not big ones, though.
Here's our not really beloved dictador (a.k.a. Margaret Tatcher's BFF). UGH.

And what the hell I'm doing here? I'm gonna sleep.

I think I don't have enough positive adjectives to describe Hugh Laurie. He is unbelievably talented, kind, humble, smart, witty, creative, and I could go on. But one particular thing that speaks highly of people is when they are enthusiastic about their jobs, not because they have to, but because they want. The whole thing about Snakes on a cane is just a proof of that.

Also, this is the sweetest compliment ever:
Lisa E is amazing. I saw a whole gaggle of women from some TV show - the funny one, the sexy one, the stern one etc - and I thought Lisa does all that every week on her own.

I always enjoy reading interviews where he talks about his co-stars, especially about RSL and LE. I'm glad they get well along, they've said they work 12 hours, and if you're going to work hard it's a good thing that you, at least, enjoy the company.

And during the chat I felt embarrassed several times. Ugh. I don't have problems with people 'shipping real persons, it's just not my cup of tea. It's harmless, so no problem, until it reaches the ears of the people involved, and all those questions about Lisa were weird (at least, I felt that way), I just hope HL didn't get where they were aiming.

Fans are almost all lovely. Trouble is, the really crazy ones don't wear a hat that says Really Crazy.

Ugh.
Ugh, homophobia.
Today I was alone drinking a coffee in 'Starbucks' when I heard a couple talking about a thing that happened on TV last night, something about two women kissing in a show like "Dancing with the stars". And they said repeatedly that they don't hate homosexuals, they even have gay frieds, they respect them, apparently as long as they don't have to see them kissing. UGH. Then they started to discuss about how they had to explain to their children about homosexuality when some gay couple appear on the news or TV show. Yeah, because keeping your childen in a bubble is the answer.
This kind of homophobia disgust me so much, because it's like, hey, I'm totally cool with it, I don't hate them, as long as they don't have sex, kiss or love each other. God, this is the fucking influence of the Catholic church. UGH.

I have a new layout. Brighter, I really like it. And I have a new header that I love not only because of the prettyness of House/Cuddy, but also the fact that it has a "The Verve" lyrics on it. Made by [info]iwant_sprinkles.

Aaaand, today I was watching "Act your age". It reminded me why I hate watching it in Spanish (dubbling). Because the next dialogue loses all its sense.

House: You OK?
Wilson: Yeah, I think so.
House: Talk to Cuddy?
Wilson: No, not yet! I don't know what to say.
House: Just... be straight with her.
Wilson: I'm not sure what that is. I... I can't stop thinking about her.

So, I just watched the Episode 21 of 'True Blood'. It's great in a cracktastic way. (And, uh, I love the intro credits).
I watched the Season 1 and the episodes from Season 2 in 3 days, and my eyes sting.

I wasn't sure if I'd like it, basically because I'm not into this vampire thing (Gothy-Drama-Queen, blerg!). And, yes, I don't like "Twilight", I don't hate it, it's just a crappy movie. I was so fucking bored  while I was watching it with my little cousins (who, by the way, loved it). But "True Blood" is not like that. I like it, although the nastyness of the sex scenes full with blood. And the crack. LOL.

'The Fellowship of the Sun'. God, they have all these quotes full of hate, talking about finding better ways to kill vampires followed by an 'Amen!'. LMAO. The redneckness is amusingly scary.

I usually hate this recurring feature of the female gender to love the "bad guys", and I was reluctant to love Eric, but I admit it: HE IS AWESOME. So is Pam.

Totally unrelated: How is there still some people who don't know that Hugh Laurie is british? Whoa, that's being slow, honey.

"I'm not sure House is capable of love the way other people are. I think he'so disconnected himself in that way that it would be impossible for him to truly be able to connect to somebody else.
I think he loves Cuddy and I think he loves Wilson, but I don't know that it would be in the same they love him."

The lovely FOX people did a cute shipper video, thing that I find absolutely adorable, although that came from nowhere (not that I'm complaining). I assume it's a long hiatus for them too. (And they used the term "Huddy", ugh, I hate it, it's nothing against my beloved 'ship, I just hate portmanteaus).

Aaaaaand asdfghjklñwertyuio we have a new promo which makes me happy, but, gah, there are two months to go before it starts.

I was two minutes in front of my screen over-excited waiting for my crappy internet connection could load the video on YT. But it's absolutely worth it.
I have to admit that I really like House/Generic-females interactions, and I'm sure a lot of people on the 'shipper communities are going to freak out & I have no problem with that, people can freak out over whatever they want, but they should remember this is just for fun, right? Not to mention the lack of context.
Although I'm hyper-happy I miss Cuddy anyway.

(The fire alarm just went off in my building for no reason, WTF? Three nights in a row the same fucking thing).

There're certain things that creep me out. Like Beavis & Butthead.Ugh. There're other things that creep me out too, but in a good way. Like "Felix, the cat" or Burton's movies. Oh, mindblowing promo pics.

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland... )

In other news I have a really pretty House/Cuddy mood theme made by [info]red_blotch.

Gah.
The SH's tweets make me happy, the plain fact that they're shooting makes me insanely happy.

And OE just twitted: "Foreman has to make out with 13 today... Yeah I know it's a dirty job but somebody has to do it... :-)."
Hey, I'm waiting for the comments in our always so prudish fandom about how disrespectful Omar is, because, not only OW has a husband, but also he's married with children.
But, I guess there's not going to be
any comments. Because he's just making a joke, he obviously is not trying to jump her. I would like that people could apply the same standars with women.
